Sir Robert McAlpine Case Study

Sapphire Security had already been working in partnership with Land Securities providing concierge services for a prestigious city centre office development when it was asked to tender for the provision of security services to Sir Robert McAlpine (SRM) for the redevelopment of Exeter City Centre.

This development by SRM is in partnership with Land Securities and after a successful tender process Sapphire Security was awarded a two and half year contract.

This project, arguably the biggest redevelopment of the city of Exeter since the end of the Second World War requires the provision of both static and mobile security officers to ensure site integrity, provide traffic control and assist SRM site management in the maintance of site dress and safety standards.

Sapphire Security identified the need for experienced and robust individuals to provide the necessary support on site to SRM, together with close liaison with the SRM management team. Consequently a strong relationship has been forged and good lines of communication opened which has benefited both parties.
